The Eng Bee Tin flagship store on Ongpin Street is marked by its vibrant, auspicious red signage and the frequent, bright purple branding that adorns everything from the packaging to the fleet of local fire trucks the company has donated. Founded in nineteen twelve by Chua Chiu Hong, this deli began as a small stall selling traditional Chinese treats like monggo-filled hopia.
