The Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel is one of twelve Fernandine churches established by King Ferdinand the Third following his conquest of Córdoba in the thirteenth century. You can identify the building by the massive, radial-tracery rose window set high above its main entrance, an architectural feature widely regarded as one of the oldest and best-preserved of its kind in the city.
