Mount Ulia is a ridge reaching two hundred forty-three meters above the eastern edge of San Sebastián. You can identify it by its dense, wooded slopes that overlook the Cantabrian Sea and the beach of Zurriola, marking the city's transition toward the neighboring port of Pasaia. Historically, the summit served as a lookout point where watchers scanned the horizon for migratory whales, signaling their arrival to the fishermen below with bonfires.
