Pukas Surf Eskola occupies a large space facing the sea on Avenida de la Zurriola. The school is part of a Basque family business that began in the nineteen seventies, when founders Íñigo Letamendia and Marian Azpiroz helped grow a small, informal surf community while Spain was still under the rule of a dictatorship.
