The Cathedral of the Good Shepherd is defined by a slender, needle-like tower that rises seventy-five meters above the city center. Built in the late nineteenth century from sandstone quarried at nearby Monte Igueldo, this neo-Gothic structure features a symmetrical Latin cross floor plan and expansive stained-glass windows designed by Juan Bautista Lázaro.
