Puerto de San Sebastián

The Port of San Sebastián forms a distinct, triangular shape at the eastern edge of the Bay of La Concha, tucked directly beneath the slopes of Mount Urgull. It is marked by two primary basins: the Muelle de la Jarana, which serves the local fishing fleet, and the marina area known as La Lasta. The layout, consolidated by nineteenth-century remodeling works under the architect Silvestre Pérez, separates these waters from the open bay while providing a direct connection to the historic Old Town through the stone Portaletas gate.
