The San Telmo Museum is recognized by the striking contrast between its sixteenth-century Dominican monastery and a modern wing whose façade is covered in perforated, recycled aluminum panels. These panels, designed to mimic the texture of the nearby rock of Mount Urgull, allow moss and ferns to grow through the exterior, blending the architecture into the hillside.
