The Ferruh Kethuda Mosque is marked by its humble, rectangular silhouette and a distinctive, original sundial set directly into the stonework of its exterior wall. Built in fifteen sixty-two and fifteen sixty-three, this site was once the center of a larger complex designed by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan for Ferruh Agha, the steward to Grand Vizier Semiz Ali Pasha.
