Television Centre in White City is unmistakable for its circular design, often described as a doughnut, which wraps around a central courtyard. Opened in nineteen sixty, this complex served for decades as the headquarters for the British Broadcasting Corporation. Architect Graham Dawbarn designed the layout after a question mark was supposedly sketched on an envelope, a shape that became the foundation for one of the world's largest television production facilities.
