Govan Old Church sits within a distinctively pear-shaped graveyard, a site of Christian worship in Glasgow that reaches back over fifteen centuries. The current building, completed in eighteen eighty-eight, is a Scottish Gothic Revival structure designed by Robert Rowand Anderson. It is built of stone and features an ornate interior influenced by Italian Franciscan basilicas.
