Memorial Church

Memorial Church sits at the center of the Stanford University campus, anchored within the long southern range of the Main Quad. You can pick it out by the intricate, shimmering mosaics that cover its exterior façade, set against buff-colored sandstone and a red tile roof. Dedicated in nineteen oh three, the church was commissioned by Jane Stanford as a memorial to her husband, Leland Stanford.
