Pearl Harbor Historic Sites Visitor Center

landmark

The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center is an open-air campus on the edge of the harbor, recognizable by its layout of buildings that catch the ocean trade winds and its proximity to the water's edge where the USS Arizona anchor sits. Managed by the National Park Service, this site functions as the primary gateway to the memorials scattered around the harbor, including the sunken wreck of the USS Arizona. It houses two museums, the Road to War and the Attack, which contain artifacts recovered from the harbor and detailed accounts of the December seventh, nineteen forty-one, attack.
