Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum

The Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum is marked by the presence of the U.S.S. Bowfin, a Balao-class submarine moored on the shores of Pearl Harbor. This vessel, famously nicknamed the Pearl Harbor Avenger, was launched on December seventh, nineteen forty-two, exactly one year after the attack on the harbor. During the Second World War, she carried out nine successful combat patrols across the Pacific, targeting enemy ships and navigating hazardous waters.
