USS Missouri (BB-63) - Battleship Museum

historic

The USS Missouri, known as the Mighty Mo, is an Iowa-class battleship recognizable by her massive steel hull and nine sixteen-inch guns housed in three rotating turrets. Commissioned in June nineteen forty-four, she was the final battleship the United States Navy ever put into service. Her long, gray silhouette now rests permanently in the waters of Pearl Harbor, where she functions as a floating museum dedicated to naval history and the crews who served aboard her over several decades of conflict.
