Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum

museum

The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum occupies two hangars, numbered thirty-seven and seventy-nine, on Ford Island. These buildings are recognizable by the visible scars of the December seventh, nineteen forty-one, attack, including bullet holes still present in the glass and metal walls. The museum sits on the ground where the first aerial bombs fell on that Sunday morning, marking the site as an active aviation battlefield of the Second World War.
