The İçərişəhər Bookhouse and Cafe sits behind a door at sixteen Asef Zeynally Street in the Old City of Baku. Established in two thousand thirteen, the space is filled with over one thousand two hundred books in several languages, including Azerbaijani, Russian, English, and Turkish. Murals and portraits of various figures decorate the walls, surrounding the small tables where visitors read, play chess, or work.
