The Angkor National Museum is a twenty-thousand-square-meter building in Siem Reap defined by its vaulted central corridor and eight themed galleries that store thousands of artifacts from the Khmer Empire. Opened on November twelfth, two thousand seven, the facility serves as a repository for stone carvings, inscriptions, and ceramics, many of which were recovered from the nearby Angkor Archaeological Park or held in the Conservation d’Angkor storage facility.
