Mittal Tea House occupies a storefront in the Main Market of Lodhi Colony, marked by a white counter that has become a fixture for tea enthusiasts in the capital. It began in nineteen fifty-four as a general store founded by Lieutenant B.D. Mittal. In the nineteen seventies, the shop pivoted to specialize in loose-leaf tea, eventually becoming one of the first retail outlets in Delhi to focus exclusively on premium Indian leaf teas.
