龍枝堂

Ryushido is a long-established brush shop located along Teramachi Street, just north of Nijo Street. You can identify this storefront by the traditional array of calligraphy supplies displayed inside, which include roughly four hundred varieties of brushes, along with ink sticks, inkstones, and handmade Japanese paper. Founded in seventeen eighty-one during the Tenpo era, the shop has remained in business for over two centuries.
