Plaza Fundadores

Plaza Fundadores is marked by a bronze sculptural frieze measuring twenty-one meters long and three meters high. Created by the artist Rafael Zamarripa in nineteen eighty-two, this massive relief dominates the space behind the Teatro Degollado. It depicts the historical figures associated with the final establishment of Guadalajara on February fourteen, fifteen forty-two, including Cristóbal de Oñate and Beatriz Hernández.
