Heal the Bay Aquarium

The Heal the Bay Aquarium occupies a space at beach-level directly beneath the carousel building on the Santa Monica Pier. This facility focuses exclusively on the local marine life found within the Santa Monica Bay. The animals inside, including swell sharks, horn sharks, moray eels, and giant sea bass housed in a twenty-two hundred gallon tank, originate from the waters directly surrounding the pier structure.
