The Witch House is a dark, two-story wooden building with steep gables, a massive central chimney, and a projecting entry porch that sits prominently at the corner of Essex and North Streets. Built around sixteen seventy-five, it is the only remaining structure in Salem with direct ties to the witchcraft trials of sixteen ninety-two.
