Numbers, located at three hundred Westheimer, is a low-slung, unassuming structure marked by a lack of traditional nightclub amenities like valet parking or a dress code. Opening in nineteen seventy-eight, the venue occupies a site that began its life in nineteen seventy-five as a dinner theater called The Million Dollar City Dump. While the interior has seen various renovations, it remains a landmark for underground and alternative culture in Houston.
