Vector Coffee on Young Street started in two thousand nineteen as a tiny, twelve-seat hole-in-the-wall cafe. Its founders, Tom and Kirsten Palmer, brought backgrounds in physics and science teaching to their approach, treating the brewing process as an exact chemical equation to maintain consistent results. When the COVID-nineteen pandemic arrived just months after they opened, the pair pivoted to serving customers through their large open windows to keep the business running.
