Sister Srey Cafe

Sister Srey Cafe sits along the riverside of Siem Reap, identifiable by its open-fronted architecture that allows light to flood into a space often filled with the hum of conversation. Founded in two thousand twelve by two sisters from Melbourne, Australia, the cafe operates as a social enterprise. Its name uses the Khmer word for sister, a nod to the mission of supporting young local students who balance their education with the demands of supporting their families.
