Le Pâquier is a seven-and-a-half-hectare stretch of open, flat grassland that separates the city of Annecy from the shore of its lake. You can identify it by its vast, unobstructed green expanse, which offers an uninterrupted view of the water and the surrounding mountain peaks. The name itself comes from the local Arpitan dialect and means pasture, reflecting its centuries-old origins as grazing land for livestock.
