Place Maurice Chevalier

Place Maurice Chevalier is a small, quiet square in the twentieth arrondissement, distinguished by the prominent Wallace fountain at its center and the imposing presence of the church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Croix rising from the street level above. The square was officially opened by municipal decree in August nineteen seventy-eight, created by restructuring the local urban layout to encompass parts of the old rue Étienne-Dolet and the former impasse du Liban.
