Tombe d'Allan Kardec

The tomb of Allan Kardec is a striking stone monument built in the form of a Celtic dolmen, a structure of rough, heavy rocks that stands out in the forty-fourth division of Père Lachaise cemetery. At the center of the dolmen, a bronze bust of the man himself gazes out over the walkway, while his life motto is carved into the granite: "To be born, to die, to be reborn again and to keep progressing, that is the law."
