La Maroquinerie sits on rue Boyer in the twentieth arrondissement, housed within a former leather goods workshop. The name itself reflects this history, as the French word for leather-working trades is maroquinerie. Since nineteen ninety-seven, the site has operated as a music venue, repurposing an industrial structure into a space that now contains a restaurant, a bar, and an intimate concert hall designed in an arc shape to hold approximately five hundred people.
