The Regard du Bernage is a small stone structure that rises near the intersection of the Rue Alexander Fleming and the Avenue du Belvédère. It is a masonry inspection house built to oversee the underground flow of the waters of the Pré-Saint-Gervais. This network of pipes once carried spring water from the nearby hillside down to the priory of Saint-Lazare in the heart of Paris.
