Philharmonie de Paris

The Philharmonie de Paris is a concert hall recognizable by its crumpled, grey aluminum shell that rises like a massive, angular hill over the Parc de la Villette. Designed by architect Jean Nouvel, the building opened in twenty fifteen to provide the capital with a world-class symphonic space. Its exterior is coated in a mosaic of birds in varying shades of grey, and the roof reaches fifty-two meters high, offering a panoramic view across the city's northeast.
