The Cimetière parisien de Pantin stretches across one hundred and seven hectares, making it the largest cemetery in France currently in operation. It is defined by its massive, grid-like network of over thirty kilometers of internal roads shaded by more than eight thousand trees. Opened on November fifteenth, eighteen eighty-six, this garden-style burial ground serves as a vast final resting place, with over one million interments recorded since its inception.
