A small, nineteenth-century pavilion at one hundred forty avenue Jean Lolive marks the entrance to the Parc de la Manufacture des Tabacs. This modest building is the final vestige of a sprawling industrial complex that began production in eighteen seventy-seven. For over a century, the site served as one of the most significant tobacco factories in the region, drawing thousands of workers to this area of Pantin.
