Hôtel de Ville, Pantin

monument

The Hôtel de Ville of Pantin is an imposing Renaissance Revival building with a symmetrical façade, distinguished by its central body flanked by two projecting pavilions. Inaugurated in eighteen eighty-six, the structure served as a deliberate display of municipal authority for the young Third Republic. Its architects, Gustave Raulin and Léon Guélorget, designed the town hall to stand between the city's historic core and the rapidly industrializing district of Quatre-Chemins.
