La Petite Ceinture du 19ᶱ (accès Thionville)

The Petite Ceinture of the nineteenth arrondissement is a series of elevated rail corridors defined by their wild, overgrown appearance, where nature has reclaimed the rusted iron tracks that once encircled Paris. Built between eighteen fifty-two and eighteen sixty-nine, the Petite Ceinture functioned as a circular freight and passenger railway designed to connect the city’s major terminal stations.
