Parigi

Parc des Buttes-Chaumont is defined by its dramatic, steep cliffs and the miniature Roman-style Temple de la Sibylle perched atop a rocky island in the center of an artificial lake. Designed by the engineer Adolphe Alphand, this sixty-one-acre landscape was created between eighteen sixty-four and eighteen sixty-seven as part of the massive urban reconstruction of Paris under Napoleon the Third and Baron Haussmann.
