Street Art Rue de l'Ancien Canal

Rue de l'Ancien Canal in Pantin follows the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq, a waterway that once served as a vital transport route for the grain and flour warehouses of this industrial suburb. The street is marked by the presence of large-scale concrete structures, most notably the former Magasins Généraux. Built between nineteen twenty-nine and nineteen thirty-one, this massive complex of six-level buildings with connecting footbridges operated as a storage hub for decades before falling into abandonment during the late nineteen nineties.
