The Sapporo Beer Museum is defined by its deep red-brick facade, a towering chimney, and the prominent red five-pointed star displayed on its exterior. This building, which stands as a Hokkaido Heritage site, was originally constructed in eighteen ninety as a factory for the Sapporo Sugar Company. By nineteen oh three, the structure was remodeled for beer production, marking the beginning of its long association with the industry that shaped the city’s identity.
