The Former Nagayama Takeshiro Residence and Former Mitsubishi Mining Dormitory consists of two distinct structures merged into one site. You can distinguish the older, nineteenth-century private residence by its traditional Japanese-Western eclectic style, while the connected dormitory wing reflects the modern, white-walled architecture of the early Showa period.
