Smart Coffee

Smart Coffee, tucked into the Teramachi shopping arcade, opened its doors in nineteen thirty-two. It began as a Western-style restaurant called Smart Lunch, earning its name to reflect the attentive service the staff provided to every guest. After the war, the establishment shifted its focus and renovated into the coffee shop that remains there today. It is now the second oldest existing cafe in the city, currently managed by the founder's family.
