New Jetty, also known as the Mixed Surname Jetty or 十姓橋, stands out along the Weld Quay waterfront as a cluster of twenty-two houses built on wooden stilts over the sea. Unlike the older clan jetties nearby, which were formed by families sharing a single surname, this village was established in nineteen sixty-two for residents of various backgrounds.
