A rusted bicycle is fixed directly to the plaster of a weather-worn shophouse wall on Armenian Street. Behind the bike, the painted figures of a young girl and her smaller brother lean into the metal frame, their faces capturing a moment of frantic, joyful momentum. This mural, titled Little Children on a Bicycle, is a mixed-media piece where the wall’s texture and the iron handlebars turn a static image into a scene that appears to move as you adjust your viewing angle.
