Coyoacan Market

The Coyoacán Market occupies an entire city block in the Del Carmen neighborhood, easily identified by the three large, vaulted halls that make up its two-story structure. Since opening in nineteen twenty-one, the market has functioned as a central point for local commerce, evolving from its earlier roots as a street-level flea market on Xicoténcatl Street. Its design remains a fixture of the area, housing a dense concentration of stalls that serve the daily needs of the neighborhood residents.
