The Fuente de los Cántaros, or Fountain of the Pitchers, is a three-meter-tall sculpture of an Indigenous woman holding a water jar under each arm. Created by the artist José María Fernández Urbina in nineteen twenty-seven, the figure stands within the Lindbergh Forum of Parque México in the Hipódromo neighborhood. You can identify her by the water that once flowed from the pitchers she carries against her body.
