The Puerta de los Leones is defined by two bronze lion sculptures resting atop marble plinths, marking the main entrance to the first section of Chapultepec Park. The gateway features a central cast-iron gate adorned with a relief of an eagle with outstretched wings. Designed by architect Antonio Muñoz García, the entrance provides access to the Calzada Juventud Heroica, a path that leads toward the Altar a la Patria.
