Diana the Huntress Fountain

The Diana the Huntress Fountain features a bronze female figure aiming a bow toward the sky, standing atop a circular stone pedestal at the center of a busy traffic circle on Paseo de la Reforma. Inaugurated in nineteen forty-two during a citywide beautification project, the monument was designed by architect Vicente Mendiola and sculpted by Juan Olaguíbel. While officially titled the Archer of the North Star, the statue became widely known as the Diana the Huntress.
