The Edificio San Martín is a three-story Art Deco apartment building that stands out for its near-perfect symmetry and an iron canopy that extends over its entrance. Completed in nineteen thirty-one by the architect Ernesto Ignacio Buenrostro, it is one of several buildings he designed within the Hipódromo neighborhood, a colonia that traces the circular path of a former horse racing track.
