Huis de Pinto is a seventeenth-century city mansion on Sint Antoniesbreestraat characterized by an imposing classicist facade that spans what were once two separate houses. Originally built in sixteen oh five, the structure took its current appearance in sixteen eighty-six when David Emanuel de Pinto commissioned a radical renovation. The house takes its name from his family, a prominent Portuguese-Jewish merchant dynasty that lived here for generations.
