Bellevue

Bellevue sits high on the mountainside in the Kalfaret district, overlooking the city and the fjord below. The name itself comes from French, meaning beautiful view, and the site has been a landmark in Bergen since the merchant Lauritz Holte Wentzel built a pleasure retreat there in seventeen ninety-six.
