The Lysverket building stands at the end of the lakeside row along Lille Lungegårdsvannet, identifiable by its long white facade and circular tower. Completed in nineteen thirty-eight, it served as the original headquarters for the municipal electricity company, Bergen Lysverker. The name of the building reflects this history, as the company provided the city with power for many years before the space was adapted for public use.
